Take the Initiative

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT

How many times do you pray for something for somebody else that you could easily take care of yourself? I believe we get so wrapped up in the assumption that God is supposed to do everything, that we neglect to see how we could easily be a blessing to that person. Or are you just going with the motions because it’s the “right” thing to say, or do you just love Him because of what He can do for you? To be truthful, your love for God will show in how you live your life because He said if you love me, you’ll obey me; and your obedience will show in your lifestyle.   Continue reading
