And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT
How many times do you pray for something for somebody else that you could easily take care of yourself? I believe we get so wrapped up in the assumption that God is supposed to do everything, that we neglect to see how we could easily be a blessing to that person. We can get so consumed with thinking about what we would be losing on our end instead of doing what Acts 20:35 says, “it is better to give than to receive.” The devil keeps our minds occupied with fear and doubt regarding helping others because if we actually do our Christian duties, people will be blessed and God will get the glory—two things the devil absolutely hates. I’m excited to expand my blog to include the input of my readers. The blog will now include writings about topics that concern you and the people that you love. If there is a particular issue that you want godly insight on, please fill out the form that can be found in the menu options at the top of the homepage (*New* Topic Submission). I will take your request before the Lord in prayer and do an in depth personal study, and see what God has to say about the matter. I hope by doing this that it will not only help me evolve as a writer, but it will also bring us closer to God as I commune with Him to give you the insight you need regarding your request. Don’t get me wrong, I do not want this to replace your personal prayer time with God. I encourage you, even if you fill out a request, to still go to God on the matter.
You can submit as many requests as you wish, but I just ask that you be patient during the process of “posting.” Waiting on God’s response, meditating, studying, and praying takes time and patience. I also encourage you to either subscribe to the blog or check back frequently to see when your concern is answered by the Lord. Let’s grow in God together, change lives, and take His message to the world!

Prayer is simply as a conversation with God. We oftentimes bombard God with everything that we want, instead of simply asking Him to give us more of Him and to make us better people. Psalms 37:4 says to delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Let’s learn to focus more on God and in turn He do wonders in our lives.
I have listed below some of the most powerful prayers that you can pray in my opinion. You will find that they are very simple, straight to the point, and packed with power. These prayers are by no means a comprehensive list, but they can be a starting point for asking God to make you into what He wants you to be and to do more of His work. You will also see that these prayers are gateways to communing with God more throughout the day. I have also included scriptures to back up the prayer. You may want to commit these scriptures to memory. They will be a great benefit to your life and will help you get through your days with ease and peace. Continue reading
