Following Jesus requires total attention, surrender, humility, dedication, and perseverance. Anything that is worth having is worth fighting for. Once you make the decision to follow Christ, there will be a lot of changes that will happen in your life. It’s something about when God gets ahold of you, things start to happen. Everything that you used to give to your flesh to satisfy it that isn’t Godly will have to be surrendered. It is true that if you are a Christian there are certain things that you cannot do, but you need to understand that whatever God says to do or not to do is for your own good. He knows the beginning from the end, a concept that you cannot grasp in the natural, so He knows what’s best for you in every single situation that you will ever face. It may seem like you are giving up a lot and your life may seem “boring,” but it is better to be “boring” than to be on your way to hell. Continue reading The Narrow Path
